Baked Tomatoes with Herbs
Tomates à la Provençale

Serves: 6 : 6

Directions
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Wash the tomatoes and cut in half horizontally. Place them, flat side up, in a buttered ovenproof dish. Pour the olive oil over them and sprinkle with salt, pepper, thyme and rosemary. Bake for 15 minutes. Mix the garlic, parsley and breadcrumbs together. Take the tomatoes out of the oven and increase the temperature to 475ºF. Sprinkle the tomatoes with garlic/parsley/breadcrumb mixture. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until the tops are brown.

3 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil Available Online
Salt and pepper
2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
4 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely chopped
1 small bunch parsley, finely chopped
2 Tbsp bread crumbs
