Easy Profiteroles
Profiteroles faciles
A Recipe From: Ile-de-France
Delicious cream puffs stuffed with vanilla ice cream and topped with warm chocolate sauce.

Skill Level: Easy
Serves: 6

Directions
Prepare and bake the cream puffs according to the instructions. Let them cool completely. Slice the cream puffs in half and stuff with vanilla ice cream. Reserve in the fridge. Warm up the milk in a saucepan until small bubbles form on the edges of the pan; add the chocolate pieces and whisk until the chocolate is melted; add the mutter and whisk well. Set three cream puffs each in six bowls, drizzle with warm chocolate sauce and serve immediately.

Sylvaine's tips
Of course, you can make your cream puffs from scratch... but our choux mix cuts down your prep time dramatically. Once the choux are baked and stuffed, you can keep them in the freezer for three months and have them ready for an (almost) impromptu dessert.
