Chicken with Mustard
Poulet à la Moutarde
| |
| 4 chicken breasts |
| 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
|
| 1 cup crème fraîche |
| Salt and pepper |
| 1 tablespoon butter |
| |
|
Preheat the oven at 350ºF. Cover each chicken breast with a thick layer of mustard. Bake for 40 minutes, until the mustard turns golden brown. Heat the crème fraîche in a small sauce pan and pour into the chicken dish. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove chicken breasts and place them on hot serving platter. Whisk the sauce, making sure to scrape off mustard and juices. Add salt and pepper as desired. Whisk in the butter and spoon immediately over the chicken breasts.
