It is hard to improve on a classic. These "bougies trouées" had been used in restaurants long before they earned medals in 1910. They feature five holes running down the length of the candle; as the candle burns, the wax melts and flows into the holes instead of dripping down the sides and staining your tablecloth. Long-lasting, these "dripless" candles have a grooved base to fit in a variety of candleholders and will burn for about 7 hours. And, who could resist the charm of the old-fashioned box? 20 candles per box, 9" tall, 0.8" diameter.
