Cheese and Olive Pâté
Pâté au Fromage et aux Olives

A tasty spread for a summer apéritif.

Skill Level: Easy
Serves: 6

Mix cheeses and butter together to obtain a smooth paste. Peel and crush the garlic clove; mix into the cheese paste, along with the parsley. Finely chop the olives (reserve a few for decor). Mix the olives into the cheese preparation. Pour into a terrine; pack it well and set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Halve the reserved olives and decorate the terrine. Serve with warm toasted baguette slices.

Sylvaine's tips
I personally love green olives but black ones can be substituted if you prefer a more mellow tast.
